Award Winning Design from FIAM

Congratulations are in order for designers designers Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere after their innovative table collection�Macrame won the award for best project at the Young&Design 2012�Exhibition at��Abitare il Tempo � Verona beating the other 399 submitted entries. Each�Macrame table is comprised of a hand-interwoven spun glass base and 10 mm glass top. The innovative and intricate design is a tribute to the imagination of the designers and the capabilities of the Fiam production team. In its 25 year history, the prize has linked its name to many designers who later became celebrities of Italian and international design. Among these some of the same designers that have collaborated with Fiam such as Cini Boeri, Vico Magistretti, Enzo Mari and Carlo Bartoli, who also was awarded this year, and moreover Achille Castiglioni, Tom�s Maldonado, Alessandro Mendini, Bruno Munari, Ettore Sottsass, Richard Sapper and Marco Zanuso.
