Philippe Starck designed the Miss Lacy chair for Driade in 2007. Expertly crafted by working with solid stainless steel, Miss Lacy is strong and exquisitely beautiful with its delicate floral patterning. The patterned embracing shell inspired by baroque lace artistry is complemented by the mirror polished and copper-finished legs that taper, making this statement piece more of a seamless jewel, than just a chair or furniture. Exclusively for the indoors, this distinctly unique showpiece uses the “lost wax” casting and moulding process, wherein each artisanal chair is crafted using carved wax and is a homage to those traditional and ancestral techniques.
