The LEM stool is designed by Shin and Tomoko Azumi, and was released by La Palma in 2000. Sleek and solid this contemporary stool is inspired by the lunar excursion module. The elegant and modern curves are further accentuated by the convenient metal foot rest; its metal frame is offered in matt chrome with the base covered by a stainless steel sheet ”linen fabric” pattern, or entirely lacquered in black or white LEM projects a future-forward design. In either a fixed or adjustable height with a swivel seat available in several finishes: wood, leather, lacquered, laminate, fabric, Corian, steel and concrete. The slightly raised backseat lends support without compromising the minimalist aesthetic. The LEM stool generates diverse looks that are suitable for refined commercial or residential spaces.
