Tonelli Penrose Desk, Irregular Glass Desk by Isao Hosoe

The Tonelli Penrose Desk is an irregularly shaped glass desk designed by Isao Hosoe and made in Italy. Its outline departs from the standard rectangle, so it works as a focal piece in a home office as much as a place to work.

An Irregular Shape Designed by Isao Hosoe

Instead of straight, parallel edges, the Penrose Desk follows an irregular form. That gives the piece a distinct profile from every angle, which suits a studio, study or executive office where the desk is seen from several sides. The design comes from Isao Hosoe, and Tonelli produces it in Italy as part of its glass furniture range.

Bonded Glass Construction

The desk is made entirely from sheets of glass bonded together. Using one material throughout keeps the form clean and lets the shape do the visual work. If glass is your preferred material for the room, see more in our glass furniture collection.

FAQ

How much weight can the Penrose Desk hold?

How heavy is the Penrose Desk?

The desk weighs 77 kg. Because it is a substantial piece of glass furniture, plan the placement and the route into the room before delivery so it can be positioned once and left in place.
