Tonelli Kart Glass Bar Trolley

Tonelli Kart is a glass bar trolley for the living room, designed by Karim Rashid. Its most distinctive feature is a pair of large glass wheels, which turn a serving piece into a small sculptural object that rolls from the seating area to the dining table.

Designed to mark a ten-year partnership

Karim Rashid created Kart to celebrate 10 years of association with Tonelli. The frosted glass structure does not hide what you store. Bottles, glasses and barware show through as soft silhouettes, so the contents become part of the look.

A drawer in black lacquered wood sits within the glass body and gives you a closed place for tools and small accessories. The dark lacquer contrasts with the pale, translucent glass around it.

FAQ

Does Ultra Modern ship to the US for free?

Yes. Ultra Modern is a US-based business, and we offer free shipping to the contiguous US. The cost is already included in the price you see.

We also cover all duties and tariffs. Because we import every item under our own Tax ID, you never have to clear goods through customs yourself or provide your personal SSN, a hassle you may run into when buying from overseas retailers.

Who makes the Tonelli Kart bar trolley?

Kart is made by Tonelli in Italy. Tonelli is a manufacturer known for its work in glass, and Kart is part of its collaboration with designer Karim Rashid.

How wide is Kart, and will it fit beside a sofa or sideboard?

Kart measures 34 inches wide and 14 inches deep, so it has a slim footprint for a serving piece. At 34 inches high it sits near counter or console height. Measure the space where you plan to park it and leave room for the wheels to roll.

Is the glass clear or frosted?

The structure is frosted glass. It blurs the contents rather than showing them sharply, so you see shapes and shadows instead of labels. The wheels are also glass.

What finishes does Kart come in?

No alternate finishes are listed for Kart on this page. The drawer is black lacquered wood. If you have a question about options, contact our team before ordering.
