The Pedrali 2748 Babila stool is a bar-height seat from Italian manufacturer Pedrali, designed by Odoardo Fioravanti. It has a gently curved seat, an integrated backrest, a footrest, and a sled base, so it works as a comfortable perch at a kitchen counter, a bar, or a restaurant.
The 2748 belongs to the Babila family, which Pedrali offers as chairs, armchairs, a table, and stools. This version keeps the family's rounded profile and adds the height and footrest needed for counters and bars. The sled base is formed from a continuous steel rod, which gives the stool a light, open look from the side. The shell has a distinctive textured finish and is built to take regular use.
With a 30 inch seat height, the stool suits kitchen islands, home bars, and breakfast counters. Pedrali also designs it for restaurants and hospitality spaces, so it works in residential and commercial interiors alike. Odoardo Fioravanti designed it for Pedrali. Pedrali was founded in 1963 and produces its metal, plastic, and upholstered seating at Mornico al Serio in Bergamo, Italy.
The seat sits 30 inches (75 cm) from the floor, and the overall height is 36 inches (92 cm). That is bar height, so it suits counters and tables built for taller stools.
Yes. The backrest is integrated into the curved seat shell, and the sled base includes a footrest. The seat is 20 inches wide and 19 inches deep.
Pedrali describes the Babila 2748 as suited to kitchens, bars, restaurants, and hospitality spaces. It is a good fit for both home and commercial seating plans.
The stated lead time is 63 to 84 days. It covers Italian production and transport to the US, so plan ahead for projects with fixed opening or move-in dates.
