Name: Pedrali Jamaica Chair, Upholstered Armchair
Brand: Pedrali
SKU: 85712

The Pedrali Jamaica chair is an upholstered armchair for dining rooms and other seating areas, made in Italy by Pedrali. CMP Design drew on Milan's Bar Jamaica for the concept, and the result is a contemporary seat with an eclectic, slightly retro attitude.

Design and construction

The shell is fully padded and upholstered, with a central lumbar support shaped into the back for comfort. A thin tubular steel backrest sits against it, a small metal accent that contrasts with the soft shell. Beneath the seat, the legs are ash plywood, which gives the chair a warm, light base.

Because the wood, metal and upholstery are each clearly visible, the Jamaica fits easily alongside a wood or glass dining table. It works as a dining chair at the table or as an accent armchair elsewhere in the home. The design also suits contract interiors.
