Pedrali Nemea Wooden Dining Chair

The Pedrali Nemea chair is a wooden dining chair with a classic silhouette, sinuous solid ash legs and an embracing backrest that curves around the sitter. It is a side chair from Pedrali, the Italian manufacturer, designed by CMP Design for dining rooms.

Design and construction

The legs are solid ash, shaped in flowing curves rather than straight tapers. They are grafted to a die-cast aluminum frame that sits beneath the ash plywood seat, so the metal stays out of sight and the chair reads as a single wooden form. The backrest tops off the seat and gives the chair its rounded, enveloping profile.

Because the structure is wood and aluminum rather than upholstery, the chair has a light visual weight. It suits a dining table where you want the chairs to add shape without bulk, in traditional rooms as well as contemporary ones.

Finishes

Nemea is offered in 13 finishes, from natural-toned options such as Bleached FR and Stained Light Walnut N1 to deeper and brighter colors. That range lets you match an existing table or set the chairs apart from it. Browse more in Pedrali chairs, side chairs or our full range of contemporary dining chairs.

The legs are solid ash and the seat is ash plywood. A die-cast aluminum frame sits under the seat and joins the legs to it. The backrest completes the shape of the chair.

How tall is the seat, and how much room does the chair need?

The seat sits 18 inches high, and the overall height is 30.5 inches. The footprint is 20.5 inches wide by 19.5 inches deep, so allow a little more than that per chair at your table.
